Worship Wednesday
Romans 1:25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen
When I read this verse it makes me sad because, although the Bible was written so long ago, it is referring to so many people of today’s times. I am sad for the ones who have exchanged the truth of God for a lie. I am sad for the ones who worship and serve creations rather than the Creator. I am sad because someone, such as myself or you reading this, hasn’t had a chance to tell these people about God and all His glory. I am sad because those people may go through the rest of their life without knowing, and having a relationship with our Savior, which in turn means death.
It’s so great to know that eternal life belongs to us believers, but what about the unbelievers. Who is telling them about the Creator? Who is showing them that worshipping the creation is sin, but the Creator of that creation is blessed, and truly deserves to be worshipped?
Lord, as we go out into the world, let us remember that spreading your word, and showing others that You are worthy of our worship and praise, not creations, could mean life or death for some individuals! Amen
